Jim the long way

Jim (Java Image Manager) is a program for managing your personal images (photos etc.). While Jim is really easy to use it's tagging technology is pretty powerful - always as powerful as you need it. Supporting a modern plugin-system Jim is easy extendible with new technologies.
As it is written in pure Java, Jim runs on several operating systems (including Windows, Linux and many more). All you need to run Jim is a Java Runtime Environment for your operating system. After installing Java Jim should easily run right out of the box.
The best of all: Jim is free software (licensed under the Apache License 2.0). This means you can download it for free!
